Elk or deer leather where an elaborate process results in a deeply textured surface and irregular grain structure. It is extremely soft and pleasant to wear, getting softer with use and may stretch substantially.
A chrome tanned leather, the fastest process combining chromium salts. It can dye to any colour and not fade with age. Direct contact with chrome tanning may aggravate a skin allergy
Apply water and stain protector before wearing and after each clean, avoid oil-based products as it will clog the pores and beware of protectors that could discolour. For regular cleaning, gently wipe using a soft dry lint free cloth. It is not damaged by water but avoid full immersion as this can discolour the leather. Allow to air dry naturally away from direct heat.
